ford escort starter removal prob's.

Basically how do i remove the starter on my '98 escort zetec. The starter is up the back of the engine. The haynes manual only shows the CVH model.

Hi, i've done this recently. Mine is a 95 1.8 zetec, theres three bolts which connect it to the flywheel/clutch housing. Two run nearside to offside, and one runs the other way. They are tight, possibly rusted on, and they are a right bugger to get too, Try all combinations of socket extensions etc. Good Luck. Andy
