Hi. I am new to the forum and I am a complete novice at the ripe age of 39 when it comes to mechanics and that but with covid and recently becoming unemployed I decided that I would have a go myself. I had a bad crash in 2019. Did a lot of damage to the body on the left hand side of my 2013 ford fiesta. I was just going to scrap it but then I wouldn't be able to get about with the family so I bought all the parts I need from scrap yards. Today I replaced the front left wing, front left passenger door, rear left passenger door and I was going to replace the boot lid but the scrap yard cut the electrical cables so I had to put that on hold. I went to lock up and the car would not lock and the front passenger window will not operate. I haven't a clue what to do with the doors but I I suspect that they have given me mark 7.5 doors where mine is a mark 7 so I think the electrics are different. I want to do the work myself. Could someone please help?

Can you swap all the electrics from your old doors onto the new ones?

I was going to do that but there seems to be an extra unit on my old door where there are nort on my replacement. I'm sure it's an easy fix but just trying to learn so I want to do it myself
