Can anyone tell me why the boot on my 2002 (52 plate) Ford Focus 5 door will not open via the key fob or the release button on the dashboard. Also, the central locking via the remote is very unresponsive unless you are within a metre of the car. Key battery is new.

hi about ur key problem somtimes when a new battery goes into key the car needs to be reset or the key remap into the programe again take it to fords dealer and they can do it unless un got dianogtic equiment
