remote key on ford focus

hi, i have a problem with my remote key for locking my ford focus, i can not lock the doors with lock button but can unlock and open boot with remote key, the only thing ive done with the car in the last week is change the blub on the reverse light and it stopped working after that, any help would be really helpfull thanks!!!!

try checking the wires in the door pillars,if anything like the ford galaxy there prone to breaking.

it sounds like the switch in the key take it apart check to see if the lock botton clicks when you press it, have replaced loads of these switches they tend to collapse, a good car audio shop should be able to replace it for you.
