Ford Focus driver side mirror repair HELP

Hi

i have just got a new wing mirror for my ford focus and was wondering if anyone knew where i could get some instructions on fitting it and removing the old one. it would save me forking out £20 for a haynes manual.

Do a search on google, I found a Mondeo forum, there must be a focus one, and you never know you may have another problem later.

Is it just the glass or the whole Mirror Assembly?

Im not 100%, but i would expect to open the door, to expose all the trim, probably a small corner trim inside, likely to be invisibly fixed with platic rivets, carefully pull the edge and gently pull the rivets out.
If not, there maybe a small plasic plug covering screw holes. Then probably 2 torx screws throught the door into the mirror housing , remove these and the mirror should be free. If its an electric mirror, the wiring will be just a multiplug, which you simply pull apart. Refitting is just opposite.
