Ford KA A/C clutch keeps stopping?

The A/C clutch in my KA+ runs then clicks and stops then clicks and runs again ad infinitum.
This is when the car is idling with no AC being asked for.

Is this normal?
It's just been into Ford to have the condenser replaced so has been refilled.

Do you have the front screen setting on the heater control as on some Fords that automatically turns the A/C on to introduce dry air into the cabin and clear the screen quicker.

The compressor should not engage if no AC is asked for. What does it do if you turn AC on? Read codes and see if there's anything there.
