Ford Ka - Water problem

I have an 03 Ford Ka. Lately, I have noticed there is a small amount of clear water in the Gear Lever gaiter first thing in the mornijng. The footwells are bone dry and the windscreen is dry and all round the dash is dry. OK! I can wipe it up with a tissue but it's driving me nuts because I cannot work out where it is coming from. Any help would be appreciated.

No sunroof fitted and roof and everywhere else inside the car is bone dry. Beginning to think it is maybe something as simple as condensation! Having said that, never used the aircon.
