Errr right - I'll give it another go.
Sitting in either front seat, the area above your knees is usually trimmed with a carpet like material, held in place with rubbish clips that you either turn 90 degrees or simply pull away.
Remove this trim and you should see the air ducts leading up to the screen vents.
You may need to become a contortionist
You may need to see a chiropractor afterwards.....

The heater box should have 4" pipes either side, means doing a handstand to remove them, and they are usually just forced on, so your key is retrievable.

I stripped a car once, and found an emergency flare, a Rolex watch, a gold ring, and some Japanese writing. (that turned out to be a parking ticket!)
