Help please, suggestions how to improve the flow from a fortic cylinder mounted 7ft 8in to top of header tank, with 22mm flow pipe X 28ft to bath & taps in a flat with 8ft ceiling. considering fitting a power shower pump to improve flow to bath, this being max demand.
thanks in advance for any help.

what sort of bath tap have you got?

Is it a mixer? Is it Italian?

does it have a flexible connector?

Does it have a ball-type service valve?

When you measure the flow into a bucket, how many litres/minute does it deliver? And how many at the basin?

hi'ya thanks for speedy responce hope this makes some sense to yer !

what sort of bath tap have you got? = single x 22mm pipe connections but outlet looks smaller

Is it a mixer? Is it Italian? = no, not known

does it have a flexible connector? = no, 22mm copper to tap

Does it have a ball-type service valve? = no,

When you measure the flow into a bucket, how many litres/minute does it deliver? And how many at the basin? basin & bath have same flow rate which is not great but useable, with the bath takeing 25min to fill with cold turned down, i have replaced tap washer that is 15mm, cleaned out inside also repiped, takeing out 7 x elbows & flushing through with cold mains after this a small improvement but still able to stop flow by hand over outlet on both taps.

SOunds like a small shower pump would improve the situation vastly. You will see instructions on "correct" installation plumbing, which are quite often very hard to achieve in a flat. In that situation it's worth putting one wherever you can, as long as it's not too silly in terms of risk of sucking air in etc, and trying it.
A sketch of possibilities would help.

hi johnD the flow rate from basin & bath taps = 4 litres/min

hi'ya CrisR thanks for the reply as you say the risk of sucking air could be a problem that i'm hopeing overcome with a fitting that goes into the main top part of cylinder makeing a new outlet flow when i find out what this part is called and obtain one, if you have any info i would gratefull.

hi CrisR found the part an essex flange 22mm i'm thinking one of these to supply the pump-22mm pipe - bath & basin taps, the pump is 15mm showerforce sonic with variable boost control hopeing this will boost the low flow more than 4 ltrs a min, what say you.

hi CrisR all above now installed and working fantastically well, now have power shower, bath, basin, kitchin sink with header tank remaing wet so no ingress of air even when running bath, whilst fitting this the reason for the low flow was found, boss white near blocking the 22mm compression service gate valve, who would have thought of that ! (plumbers with there short fat fingers) problem solved now have 200% better system. thanks
