I want to make a hoop frame out of metal for the netting to go on.

I was thinking something like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminium...hash=item4b196aeca5:m:mXHX9_TT8wtCT-cHFPR_LSw

I'm going to a stockholder today to see what they have but I'm not sure what would be the best value for it's purpose. Obviously it will need to be corrosion resistance and strong enough to support the netting and windloads, so I'm going with 6mm.

Anything to add?

You could use plastic pipes (e.g. from Plumb Center) and netting. Obviously it wouldn't be a square cage but the tunnel shape does the same job.

Galvanised conduit from an electrical supplier is a good value way to get bendable corrosion proof steel. Do you need to join it? How were you planning on doing that?
