Thought I would post this as an advisory to anyone looking at fitting new valves:

I've just discovered that Wickes replacement ceramic plate type valves (7mm spline part number 425027 at the bargain price of £3.18 a pair) fit a Franke Danube kitchen mixer tap perfectly.

I wasn't sure when I bought them and thought I'd gamble three quid.
