Can it be done without the freezer working too hard?

The cupboard is plasterd and with flooring so its good enough for a freezer to go in, I just wonder if a freezer can happily live in an enclosed, yet quite large cupboard (relative to the size of the freezer)

Im guessing it's okay, because the fridge in the kitchen is enclosed by other units and the worktop?

It's a HA house so I reckon I could put a vent in the door without any problems, would i even need to?

I would leave a gap between wall and back of freezer and if the area is ventilated and no heat source in the cupboard.
Should be okay to go!
