i have just bought a beko freezer. I removed a kitchen cupboard and fitted the freezer into that space. I found that that the compressor is running continuously and the sides of the freezer are warm to touch---when I pull out of the space it the sides cool down and the compressor cuts out normally----do I have to have an air flow around the unit? or can i put in a couple of vents to allow heat to dissipate

many Thanks

look in the book that comes with it
i suspect they will say 50mm at the back and 25mm anywhere else

but you definatly need air flow i assume there are no closed doors in front!!!!

you should not do what you have done, but since you have................

an appliance that fits in a cupboard is called integrated, they have extra bits and bobs (new technical term that), or the same bits and bobs in differnt places than the standard because of less ventilation etc.

an integrated hotpont w/m has 4 legs not 2 like the ordainairy one does.

i think its the fridge that has the condensor at the top not the bottom.

but to solve your problem you will need free air flow all around it how you do that is up to you.
