I'm installing a Triton Amber III electric shower in my summer chalet.
It will be unoccupied from the end of September to Good Friday (council rulls1)
It's on an outside wall. The wall consists of a 2x2 frame with shiplap on the outside and 6mm ply on the inside. I will fit 2" Kingspan in the area of the shower.
I know it will freeze in the winter, so is it possible to completely drain the shower unit by opening the inlet solenoid valve with the water turned off and a nearby cold tap turned on?
Otherwise I'll have to remove the shower unit at the end of every season.
