Hi

Fitting 3x 4 panel French doors. 2.4m wide. Do these fit (almost ) flush with brickwork or do they need to be recessed? Can’t find anything definitive. LBC are inside with everything I’ve done up to now ( no small thanks to this forum! ) and would like the doors to go as well. No dense as I’ve made the doors and the glass is A rated. All the U values are good - it’s the physical fitting I need help on.

Thanks

Frames should cover the vDPC, so that no part of the external leaf is on the room-side of the frame

that’s the bottom of the frame ( I think you’re referring to ). The side frames, I have cavity closures - but can I fit the frame flush to the front of the outer leaf or do I need to set it back? Maybe a drawing or two would help decipher my waffle - will post something…. Thanks woody.

VDPC - vertical DPC? Surely not :). That really helps - thanks woody.
