what made that film a good film was actor Michael Berryman who played Pluto the bug eyed scary guy ...

this 2005 remake was pitiful in comparison, the origional is far better than this ...

yes ... he had a look all to himself.... in an interview I read some where he said he has had a great career as the strange/serial killer character in films over the years ....
when all the usual pretty boy actors turned up at castings his "looks" got him many roles ...
Good for him ......
