Fridge/freezer problem

Last Friday, our fridge freezer stopped working but luckily we had an old freezer in the shed and transferred the food before it could defrost. Switched off and on again and FF back to normal. Until this morning that is when it stoppoed working again.
Under extended warranty for another 2 months and although the engineer is coming on Friday, I would be happier if someone could come up with what the problem might be before then. The mains lead, plug and fuse are ok.

Still have this problem FF stops working in the evening and then if I switch off and then on again in the morning it starts up again only to go off in the evening as it has just done. Help would be appreciated.
