had this fridge freezer for about 18 months - it went off on friday. turns out the freezer was very icy at the back - must have been due a defrost and forced a shut down?
anyway - defrosted it friday night - turned it back on saturday morning and hey presto the compressor starts as normal but the appliance fails to cool properly. the freezer started to get cold but the fridge did nothing really. so i turned it off again on Saturday night and back on again Sunday afternoon and its done the same again - freezer gets cold but fridge doesn't.
i must point out that the freezer doesn't ice up fully either - it starts to get cold and make ice then starts to warm up again.
any ideas? is something making it think its already cold enough? something blocked?
