I had a look on pricerunner.com

A couple of very good prices for fridge/freezers around the £250 mark.

Should I go for Indesit/Whirlpool/Beko?

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

"Which" says:

11 per cent of fridge-freezers up to six years old go wrong. The most reliable brands are Beko, LG, Neff with a breakdown rate of just 5 per cent. Hoover is the least reliable brand - 17 per cent of Hoover models up to six years old have needed a repair.

You recommend
Bosch, Miele, Liebherr, LG, Samsung and Siemens are all above average when it comes to your recommendations, although none scores above 67 per cent.

Total sample: 4,300 owners

I say:

I bought a big Bosch frost-free last year and am very pleased with it. The previous (not Bosch) frost-free went wrong, I hear this is not uncommon with frost-frees as they are more complicated, so I got the extended Bosch warranty this time.

]fridge is like a oven in many ways, food stuff needs to be scattered about , ie not piled up in one place, fridge should last if taken care of and de-iced .cleaned etc[/b]
