It's been fitted for a year, come loose, and now fallen off.
It's the type of panel that 'slides up' as you open the door.
I removed it fully, and properly repaired the upper fixing points (two white circular 'knobs' that fix behind a slot in the actual door - they had torn out the chipboard facia), but when I've put it back on the door is again falling off. Clearly, there is something putting far too much strain on those fixing point.
It possible I've put some washers (that had fallen off) back in slightly the wrong place.
But I'd also read that this problem occurs if the door facia was originally cut a little too long.
But despite searching the web extensively, I can find absolutely no detailed instructions for how to size and correctly fit the facia panel. Not even on Zanussi's website!
The user manual just has a very small, virtually incomprehensible mention of it.
I'm happy to refit one properly from scratch if given installers instructions!
Help please!
