Hi,

we bought this house recently and I note the front garden under the bay window floods.

There are 2 drains but both above the level of the flooded water.

I’ve attached pictures (sorry they are a bit dark)

the water is about 1-2 inches deep.

Anyone know if this will affect the structure of the house? Anyone any idea how to fix this?

thanks - not sure if this is best in building or garden!

Lower the drain or dig out all that concrete around the house and put in a French drain. Even just digging down and filling it several inches with shingle will help the water have somewhere to go.
