hi all a while since i last posted but i would like some advise please.

a inlaws hosue has approximate 3 mtr external 22 mm copper pipe from meter box painted white to blend with house colour

given whether conditions that are to come i would presume that this would be id rather than ncs.

the inlaw doesnt want grey faom insulation and has asked can box conduit do the trick.... personally i dont think so can anyone tell me whether they know anything that can be used that wont be to unsightly as the pipe runs up front wall to house.

this pipe is not protected not sleaved through wall and is sealed from outside and inside.

more noticably would be neighbours 15 mm unprotected pipe running 20 ft in ginal way unprotected.

i take your talking about a gas pipe.

>this pipe is not protected not sleaved through wall and is sealed from outside and inside.

should be sleeved and sealed from inside.

yeah certainly am,

what would you recomend to count as protection that wouldnt be to unsightly.

do you mean you want frost protection for a gas pipe?

to prevent the gas freezing?

No sleeve is ncs but there is nothing wrong with the gas pipe being exposed to the elements

yeah its gas pipe, for some reason i thought it needed protection but it dont it just need to be identifiable doesnt it, yellow or gas labelled..with sleeve through wall.

Are you taking the **** Doyle? ID ? How you get that? Its going to kill someone by being the wrong colour? Stick some gas marking tape on it and leave it alone...

there is no need to paint it yellow unless you are very eccentric and like painting things

like me!
