Frost Stat ( Honeywell T4360)

As we have a cold snap

I want to check my above froststat. I have taken off the cover. I can see the degrees figures on the middle dial.

I can see no point to align the 5 degree arrow with! Can I assume it would be at the 12 o'clock point and that 5degrres is about correct?

Any tips on ensuring the stat functions properly? My oil boiler is sited in my garage, with water pipes running along garage wall , then up into the loft.

If you look closely at the plate behind the dial there is a little grove in it this is the alinement mark ,think it is at 12 o clock on these
