Have you had a dripping tap?

Put the kettle on......................and pour the water down the plug hole.

thats the first thing i did!!! but it wont go down , as i guess its frozen!! ive also put salt down,,,,, there wasnt any water in the bath , it just appeared on thursday, came up through the plug.... THANKS ANYWAY, .

I think you might find its not the bath plug hole thats frozen but somewhere further down the line.

NO, no dripping tap,one day the bath was emty , then the next day, there was a little amount of water ,just above the plug hole.... im thinking a pipe bellow the plug must b frozen solid and pushed the water up........ ill have to wait for it to tho out, i guess... thanks..

Can you tell where the pipe goes from the bath? Is is a first floor bathroom?

Get the bath palel off and get a hair dryer on the waste, but do make sure either the circuit is protected by an RCD or plug the hair dryer into one.
