have a conventional boiler in the garage had the heating on last night went outside for something and there is a rattling noise coming from the flu outside any ideas anyone to what it could be thanxs

Not enough information, but obvious thing to suggest would be the fan failing.

thanxs for the quick reply its a ideal boiler with a fanned balanced flu hot water tank iupstairs and a tank in the loft
