Funny sound from PC?

My son was watching a Bob the Builder song on YouTube, I left the room for a minute and when I came back he'd used the mouse to press something that the song now plays at half the rate/frequency. Its almost like listening to something in slow motion, all the words are there, just slowed down. I've now noticed that its the same with all sounds out of the PC, even the logoff sounds warped!

Is there a setting somewhere I can use to get it back to normal? I'm running MS Windows XP Pro (SP3).

Have you tried a system restore to an earlier date?
Start>accessories>system tools>system restore.

My 4 yr old often breaks my PC. If in doubt do a system restore back to just prior the incident. Should work fine.

Next time I'll tie him up before leaving the room!

Might be heating some Hardware problem
