I have an exposed ambassador shower that is leaking from under the unit, it starts as a drip and then turns into a small spray of water. It does stop if you lean on the unit at the top. However,I have then discovered that this is then causing water to run back down the hot/cold water pipes behind the tiles and cause a puddle to form under the bath at the wall.
Can anyone give any light on this problem- i have read lots of posts regarding changing the cartridge. Logic leads me to belive that an o ring has broken and there is not a tight enough seal???
Would it be more cost effective to buy a new shower-the current one does seem to be pretty old?
