Gainsborough Electric Shower 8.5e Engine

Afternoon All,

The engine on my gainsborough 8.5e electric shower has stopped heating the water, so only get cold through my shower (had it 3 years or more and used every day at least once so not done bad) ordered replacement engine. Planning on replacing it tonight. Just wanted to check with people here so as to avoid problems. Plan is:
Turn off electric to shower
Turn off water
Remove L,N,E wires
Disconnect cold water feed
Remove old engine
Insert new engine
Connect cold water feed
Connect L,N,E wires
Turn on water
Turn on electric

Enjoy hot shower. Anything else I need to be aware of?

Any help/suggestions is/are appreciated.

That's fine but see comments in brackets


Turn off electric to shower (and lock it off or disconnect live at MCB)
Turn off water
Remove L,N,E wires
Disconnect cold water feed
Remove old engine
Insert new engine
Connect cold water feed
Connect L,N,E wires(ensure secure connections and verify continuity of earth)
Turn on water
Turn on electric (prime engine with water to protect heater when first switched on)
