Galaxy 2 alarm

I have recently moved and the house has a galaxy 2 alarm fitted, the alarm has been beeping and i have an error code of pa zone 1013 showing. what is this. the alarm was installed 12 years ago and doesn't look like it has been maintained

There's probably a panic button fitted somewhere in the property. Normally near the front door or in a bedroom. It's a small white box about 1.5" x 2" with a red button which will be depressed. They normally need a small plastic key to release the latched red button. After the button has been reset, the panel should reset using the manager code. If you don't have the manager and engineer codes, then these will need resetting if you're going to maintain the system as DIY.
