galvanized washing line post 3m​

I am thinking of putting one of these to replace broken concrete one.

Whats the best way to secure this in the ground, as it will take a lot of wind in the position in the garden, Concrete or postcrete ?

Or is there something else?

Drive a stake ( angle iron or similar rigid item ) into the ground and then add the concrete. The stake will prevent the concrete from moving in the soft top soil

about 1 foot deep and 1 foot square if the stake is 3 foot long or longer.

I was thinking sinking the washing line post in 2 feet deep to give it good anchorage as the post will be 6 feet plus above ground

Will have to search out a piece of angle.

I'd always go for concrete against postcrete.......you get a much more consistent mix, I think.
