I've filled in the gaps at the side of the window to the brick wall with expanding foam. I've noticed above the window in a stud wall bay it has a little gap where you can see the light in this photo. On the outside it was a concrete mix that was filling the gap that's fallen away so light comes in.
On the inside it has a plastic trim to hide the gap. Before I replace (or what it the alternative) I'm wondering how best to fill this fine gap ?
