Its appprox 1/3 inch wide, 4 inches deep. At each side, this also runs about 4 inches under the wall at each side.
Ive cleared the gap out, and can see the edge of damp course protruding 1/16th of an ich from under the concrete floor at or near the bottom of the hole .
What would the best material to fill this gap to avoid compromising the damp course? I was thinking of a waterproof type fill
