After having the living room plastered I added some timber strips (4mm thick) to make the frame flush with the new plaster
As a consequence I also fitted the hinges 4mm further away from the stopper; the door was already not touching the stop all the way around so now there is about a 10mm gap

Being a rebated frame I couldn’t just remove and reposition the stop

Is it worth trying extending the existing stop by cutting some 10mm by whatever the thickness of the stop is or should I just fit some weatherproof foam strips?

Racks at diy have timber strips. Buy a 3mm strip of wood for the 4mm gap.
Hopefully something will fit without much sanding or trimming.
I'd stick in with some 2 pack wood filler and sand smooth

This sort of rack.
Just remembered
Recently took this picture, as my customer could not find this rack in store, as luck would have it.
Find something and make it fit

The gap is 10mm, I can probably cut something down on the table saw

Yeah.
If you can that's the answer. Time means I buy off rack if I can.
I tend to shave off paint and stick wood on with 2 pack.
Can also use repair care resin and they make one that don't need primer but not worth the cost for just that.

Made this door bigger with strip.
Not what your doing but same thing.
I'm always taking pictures of my work? Odd that..
