Gaps in between door frames.

Hi.
I’m just in the process of decorating our living room. Attached to it is a upvc conservatory and a utility room with upvc door frame. It’s an old house with shoddy uneven plaster work and there are gaps between the door frames and plaster, varying from 3-10mm in size.
What would be best to fill these gaps with due to the difference in materials.
Thank you :)

thanks for the pics.
cleaning out and caulking with a thick bead of caulk would probably be the best way to go, however:

is the frame or the infill panel loose?
does the door shut correctly
or is it difficult to latch shut
does it want to spring open?

Brilliant, thanks for the advice.

The door shuts and latches fine, nothing loose at all, and no it doesn’t want to spring open, it just looks like it was never filled, perhaps not fitted correctly, and so for now caulking will be sufficient :)

Thanks
