I currently already have a garage base, it is concrete with a layer of screed on the top to provide a smooth floor and is 16ft long. I have got rid of my old asbestos garage and have ordered a new sectional garage.
However! my new garage is 14 ft longer than my old garage. Can I lay another base at the rear of my existing one or is it better to rip everything up and start again? Obviously money doesn't grow on trees so I was hoping that I would be able to add an extra base at the back of the old one . The screed would be removed and a new top surface added.

Is the above possible? Would I have subsidence probs with new base moving relative to old base?

Any help appreciated as always

Andy
