Garage Conversion

I am converting my garage into a room.

I have had the door removed and the it bricked up ready for a window.

The window wall is 9 inch brickwork, no cavity, so on the inside I am going to put up a stud wall and fill with probably 100m insultation.

The question i have is, before i put up the stud wall, should I be covering the wall with somekind of plastic membrane sheeting?

Optional depending on if the wall gets driven rain.

Thick polythene sheet, normally sold as DPM.
