Garage door replace with a Window

Hi Guys,

Doing a garage conversion.

Will need to install a window instead of a garage door, see photo.

Do I need a foundation for this new brickwork? There is a concrete slab in the garage about 6" thick. Can the brickwork go on top of the slab?

If the 'concrete slab' in question is a raft foundation (unlikely) then yes. Otherwise you will need to dig down and build a foundation.
