Garden Path Removal

As part of a garden overall I have a couple of garden paths that I would like to get rid of. They both were were built with the house and are connected to the concrete perimeter that surrounds it, so is there anything i need to be concerned about if I choose to remove them?

Front's 3.5mx1m, back's 4.5mx1m

House is a 3 bed semi.
