I was planning to turning a strip of my garden into a play area which would consist of a trampoline and swing and poss a few other bits, at the moment it's grass and a pain to cut, I was thing of bark chippings but didn't want cats to use it as a toilet is there any thing else I could possibly use? Thanks :D

Have you considered river rock instead of bark? Yes, it's more expensive, especially here in the States, but I've always loved the look of it and the rounded edges make walking on it very comfortable on bare feet.
