As the garage will be converted to a room soon, I want to build/get a large garden shed.

My garden is quite long and split in half and I wanted a full width (20-25ft) shed in the rear part.

What would be the best/cheapest material to use?

if its wood you dont need planning permission

providing its less than 50% of the garden
more than 1mtr away from the boundary
less than 3m high flat roof 4m slopeing

total area coverd is less than somthing like 30 square m

and more than x number of meters from the public highway

so proximity to fence floor area and height may be a problem in your case

my shed is around half your size at 3.4x4m

Nice sheed but was actually thinking something like blocks or similar. someone on the other side has something similar.

what do you mean by proximity to fence floor area and height?

if your building is made from wood its classified as a temporary structure and providing it meets certain criterior dosent need planning permision

if its a perminant structure it will need need planning
so your building will need planning permision if its block built
