My garden shed is 6' x 8' apex roof made of chipboard and felted. For years it would seem, a tree has been burrowing its way into the roof but the rest of the shed is OK water damage is bad but that will dry out if I sort the roof and leaks.
The roof will need to be completely replaced not just felted. Well past that stage of repair
What is the best way to replace the roof?

3 Sheets 8x4 18mm wbp ply fixed with 67mm annular nails.

Finished with 4mm mineral capsheet. :D

I have used coroline bituminous sheets on several garages/sheds and it works very well. Stocked by B&Q?Screwfix/Homebase

Depending on the size of the roof, span and if you want access to walk on the roof, as malcmw says put some ply under it, I used 12mm OSB board

Some pictures on My Blog

I did a shed with it as well

Having done both methods over the years - Coroline gets my vote ;)
