A normal garden tap, fed on a 16mm pipe, is the male thread on the spout 3/4" / DN20, or 1/2" / DN15 please?

UK outside taps are typically on a1/2" inlet they are 3/4" outlet, the larger 3/4" inlet are usually 7/8" outlet.
16mm feed is not a typical UK size, that's typically Ireland - IE
