Grohe Grotherm 1000 bath shower mixer fitting options

Hi,

I am in the process of installing a shower bath and have tentatively decided on the grotherm 1000 thermostatic bath/shower mixer (it has good reviews).

On amazon I am finding 2 different options for purchasing - a DN15 fitting or
1/2.

Does anyone have any experience with these taps and will they fit as standard or will the copper pipe need to be altered?

Should I buy a shower mixer with 1/2 or DN15? What is standard in the UK?
