I have laid a 25mm mdpe pipe approx 30m away from the house as the current location of the tap is too far shown in the photo. The incoming water feed pipe is under the house extension and comes through the floor inside the house so I’m looking to go from this tap connection instead of making a big job. What fittings would be best suited to go from the copper pipe to mdpe shown in the photo and I would also like a valve

You need the 25mm laid in a trench of between 750mm depth to a maximum of 1350mm, insuduct for the part up to the tap, a 25mm x 15mm stopcock, drain off and a double check valve. You also need permission from the water undertaker to ascertain if what is suggested is allowed.

In no way am I doubting what you say, why is permission required? This is beyond my ken.

Thank you for this mate

Not all will allow underground pipes on show even in insuduct and not all will allow the alteration of a main without prior permission and can be subject to a water inspector signing off before the trench is backfilled
