With reference to my previous post - I've managed to aquire (on approval) a Kane 250 combustion meter, complete with printer and carry case (used 4 times), a Testo smoke pump with filters, a Testo 922 thermometer with clip on probes, a Raytek laser hand held minitemp thermometer, plus a vacuum / pressure gauge kit with all the universal connections...all for £150...all working perfectly. Good deal? Cheers John

Definitely not hot (really) - from a mate who decided to become a qualified OFTEC then became a sparky instead....have all receipts, gear bought in 2004 and seems to be in A1 condition. Cheers John

Have you got calibration certificates?

If the Kane 250 has not been used a while it will need a service, probably new measuring cells or whatever they are called and re-calibration.

Can cost a bit but at that price well worth the trouble.

If you get onto the Kane website they give prices for annual service and calibration, etc., and do a fast turnaround for the service. There are others that do the service too but I always felt it was better to use the manufacturer.

Basically a great buy!
