I've checked some posts and I think I know what the issue is. My gas boiler appears to be working but we get no hot water and the rads are cold. The header tank is full. I'm thinking it's the pump - is this picture of the pump? What do I do next?

That's a rather old motor valve. Sometimes if faulty the emit a fairly loud metallic click !
The boiler can not be working if nothing is getting hot as otherwise there is no where for the heat to go!
I think you may need a heating engineer!
