I want to replace my old free standing gas cooker with a separate gas hob and gas oven, is this possible, or should I fit a gas hob and a fan oven?

I'd go for the gas hob (fast switch off) and the leccy fan oven (even heat)
We've just purchased a Zanussi built in fan oven and its brilliant. You know the horror stories where your kids touch the glass and burn their hands, not with this baby. It even blows out 'cool air' !!
The leccy hob (quartz) is different though as the glass stays hot but you do get a warning light to tell you it still is. I would've preferred a gas hob but 50p for a bit of cable or £50 p.h. for a corgi fitter is beyond a joke, although I could've done it myself, but there you go.
