I need to lay a 15mm coper gas pipe under a 75mm screed floor. the pipe will be in one piece(no joints). does the pipe need to be in a conduit/ channel. If so can anyone recommed what to use. I will get a gas safe plumber to connect/commission my cooker after the floor is laid.

I would suggest you leave it to the rgi to install as before it is screeded in it will require a tightness test. With that in mind it's pointless teling you what is needed as they will sort that for you.

What are you planning to do when you connect the pipe to the existing gaspipe? Just turning the gas off before you start cutting and soldering is not quite enough.
