Hello, Hoping a Gas fitter may be able to advise on ducting pipes in a concrete slab.

I'm going to be installing a 100mm slab in near future and would like to provide the gas supplies to the fire and boiler within the slab. I wanted to have them in a duct, metal or concrete with a removeable lid, that would sit flush with top of slab. obviously a registerd Gas fitter would do the pipe install but I'll provide the ducted route. Could anyone advise what the minimum depth of the pipe would be within the duct ? Bear in mind, there is no screed, its concrete slab with laminate or carpet over.

Thanks for that. Looks like there isn't a minimum figure. Think the 25mm cover is for when it's embedded in screed.
I'll have to check with Gas safe and report back with the answer.
