It is, bonding is on the iron supply pipe, the internal copper gas pipe and the internal copper water pipes so it's bonded three ways.Yep and that earth bonding needs moving to the copper internals.
So for those interested, apparently this yellow valve is a taylor valve that requires a special key to operate. It's a version where you can shut off your gas by hand, but then need a special key to turn on again. How do I know? After I switched it on again, I had no gas and had to call Cadent for help... to be fair, the guys were here within an hour and were nice about it. They did agree it's an unusual setup and mentioned it may be worthwhile to dig up the pavement and have the supply pipes re-done properly, i.e. supply before the meter goes straight into the meter instead of passing through my property and then back out again. Unfortunately that won't be covered and I would have to pay out of pocket. Not sure I can justify that expense...
